Riddick looks awesome in the trailer. I see Vin Diesel having a lot of fun playing Riddick. Guillermo del Toro is one of my favorite directors out there. Toro puts that extra touch on everything that he is attached to. We all know the scale is enormous and that the visuals are going to be jaw dropping eye candy. We finally get to see the monsters and they look grusomely awesome. From the trailer I feel like the visual direction of the ruined Earth takes a lot of the District 9 feel of a gritty environment. The movie looks like it has a good story based on the trailer but it also teases us with a great scope in terms of the sets.
